Attention to all: In the state of Vermont there was a theft of a cross from the Green Mount Cemetery. This information was alerted by its superintendent Patrick Healey.A 125 year old plus brown stone "tree" cross has been recently stolen on or about May 5th. This cross resembles two tree branches with 2 roses carved on the cross. This "tree" cross's base is @ 8.5 inches square and the actual cross is @ 18 inches tall.Anyone having any information on this cemetery memorial is asked to call the Cemetery Office at 802-223-5352 and speak to Director Patrick Healey. The only lead so far is a White/ light colored Magnum station wagon type car with Connecticut License plates was seen in the area taking pictures. Spring Issue (March 2009) - Church Newsletter
